Pack & Ship

Before you begin packing the equipment make sure the tracking number is placed on each item that will be shipped (see note below).

The best way to pack your equipment for shipping is to use the orginal box the radio came in, if you still have it. Place the orginal box with the radio inside, make sure the radio can not move inside the orginal box, then place the orginal box inside another box filled with packing peanuts or bubble wrap. You must make sure the the inner box with your radio in it can not move.
Before you tape the box shut lift the shipping box up and shake it if you feel that the inner box is moving repack the shipping box with the inner box in it so it does not move.

Include shipping instructions paperwork!
On it should be  tracking number (make sure the tracking number is attached to each item), service instructions, list of equipment being shipped with manufacture, model and serial number for each radio, a list of all non-radio type equipment, your name, address, email address, phone number(if you want to be contacted by phone) and any other instructions you feel I need to know.

Make sure your paperwork is in the box!
At this point you can tape the box shut.

If you do not have the orginal box the radio came in you must wrap the radio and all other equipment that is coming with it in bubble wrap and tape the bubble wrap shut. Then place this inside the shipping box filled with either packing peanuts or bubble wrap. Shake the shipping box to feel if the equipment inside is moving if not include the shipping instruction as explained above then tape the box shut.

NOTE:
If you do not include the tracking number with your paperwork and do not place the number on each item that is being shipped it will create a very long delay for the turn around time of the repair. Make sure the tracking number is placed on each item.

Include shipping insurance for your equipment with whom ever you use for shipping.
I like to use the Postal Service (postoffice) it is much easier on me to pick up and drop off the packages at the post office. I also find they seem to be cheaper.
